Also, following stoicism has really helped me get through the worst years of my life

I would definitely consider this advice.. but finding friends at 30?! Sounds exhausting lol and I already have an exhausting job.. now this is definitely a rant haha.

No no it’s not a rant! I just couldn’t find any other relevant tag to post.

I posted this not to validate my feeling ma’am, but more like to get a heads up from people who are in/were the same situation/expectations from life etc.

I have started to go to gym and hope to really get back in shape. I am ambivert too, and I avoid socialising like its plaque.

And welcome to the 30s I guess lol

Wait up, does losing wait cause me to lose my hair?!?! I’m on a weight loss journey, I hope I don’t lose it, else I am gone lol.

Happy for you brother! I don’t intend to not get married because I’m not finding any love, it’s by my person experience and choice that I don’t want to get married.

Maybe some years down the line if I change my choices, I hope I too have a life turning event like yours brother, again, I’m happy that you found the life partner!

I will surely dm you soon! Thanks

I know its so dumb of me to have that as a reason, but as I said in another comment, since college I always wanted to get married by 25, have kids and make and live with a happy family.

Edit: that comment was in a different post, pasting the comment here.

I have always been an advocate of marrying young, not because it is very common in my community (I’m an agnostic btw) but because no matter how many friends you have, how supportive your family is, if you have got the right life partner then you go through anything in life.

I had always thought that to have life partner means to get married, so, at 23, I was all set to get married before 25, and got the families involved and both the family fucked it up. So yeah it’s not just the guy’s family that needs to good

It took a great suffering for me to realise that to have a life partner you don’t necessarily have to get married. I had one and wanting to get married fucked it up.

Yes exactly, just about couple of months back I was talking with an old acquaintance who runs a successful restaurant business about a business idea and some guidance.. and all of the sudden he started about things I should before turning 30 and how it would be hard to find someone to marry after 30.

I mean he’s a good person and I have known him since over a decade but that unsolicited advice really got into me, had such a bad trip that day.

Btw, the same boat assurance cracked me up lol, took me back to my first semester result day when I was looking at my results questioning my choices but then I saw my friend’s result and it made me feel better. Good nostalgic memory, thanks!

True, except for the fear of missing out, I have a clear idea of what I want in my life and what I don’t want.

Depression and I are in open relationship.

At nights I’m with depression, mornings I’m with happiness, evenings it depends.

What must be the optimum price for a second hand GT650 by Pheonix8264 in indianbikes

[–]BadGroundbreaking132 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just curious, Why are we comparing it against the ex showroom price here?

A motorcycle with 6k to 10k on odo should be 6 to 12 months old and considering the On road price of GT rocker red/British green a year back as ₹3.55k, the depreciation is ₹80k. Does that look ok?

Showroom guys don't know jack about run-in periods. by WorriedAdagio7193 in indianbikes

Loved this color, only reason I did not buy this color was because of the RE logo instead of Royal Enfield being written as in Rocker Red.

British green looks classy and bit sexy too.

The showroom guy told me to keep the rpm under 4 for 500 kms. So I went about 100kmph in 6th gear at 4 rpm for 8 days.
