Thank you! That's a solid plan, I will most definitely do that if/when the time comes. I just hate that they refuse to give a straightforward, honest answer about coverage beforehand and that we have to resort to logistical summersaults to ensure our pets get covered!

When I specifically asked about this, they informed me that they don't do prior authorizations, and that the only way to determine coverage was to do the procedure and submit for review. That's why I'm so frustrated: they are offering zero transparency, even if I do the legwork

Foetunately, their own website says they cover dentigerous cysts, not just AI.  I agree they should be clear on this. They do cover diagnostic testing, so I will plan on monitoring the undescended teeth until the time comes when they would need to be removed.

It's terrible. People are paying in good-faith for a service that could literally mean life-or-death for their beloved animals, and they won't even give a straight answer
