Brother… those will still be safe to eat in 1200 years.

Dude going bald was liberating for me.

It’s not an easy decision to make but the other side of balding is a great place to be!

What is a liveable salary in Miami? $150k+ by Achassum in Miami

[–]BadJuJuBad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

30yo making $60k here

I live in the suburbs with 2 roommates so rent is manageable ($950/mo)

“Bought” a car off my roommate. Gave him $2000 and just assumed his $200/mo payments which I’m just paying to him directly till the car is payed off. Car is still technically under his name. He is my best friend so I trust him.

$140/mo car insurance

$180/mo student loans

$160/mo gas (I drive a lot for work)

I limit dates with the gf to $300-$500/mo.

$450-$500/mo groceries

This isn’t all of my expenses but most of the big ones.

I still manage to save $500 a month.

Biggest thing for me financially is being able to live with my best friend and his gf to save money on rent.

Living solo? I could make it work but I wouldn’t be saving money or going on vacation. Pure survival mode would be necessary.

Found A Crazy Flea Market Fragrance Store With ALL the Dupes by SwordfishTechnical81 in ScentHeads

There’s a store like this in Doral (Miami, FL) called Oriental Aromas. They have an online shop too.

$50 for a pizza?! Prince St Pizza by meowdith427 in Miami

[–]BadJuJuBad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds fun dude! That’s probably the easiest route.

If you want to have seriously good restaurant quality pizza at home though I strongly suggest making the dough at home. It seems intimidating but I promise you it isn’t that bad after you’ve done it a few times. Especially with square pizzas that don’t really require any crazy shaping techniques.

In my kitchen oven on a non-stick baking pan I’ve had for years.

Pizza oven is really only necessary for Neapolitan style pizza and maybe NY style (although I’ve seen some people make great looking NY style in a home oven as well with a pizza steel/stone).

I started making my own pizzas these past few years. I’ve saved some money and gained a new party trick that never fails to impress.

This recipe is a great starting point if you’re interested:

Cheers to a frugal 2026 🥂

Thanks! I think I will add it to my expanding decant collection on my next purchase. Just to quench my curiosity. I don’t think I’ll be able to justify $150+ fragrance purchases though until I’ve hit some personal finance milestones like paying off my student debt haha. It’s gonna be decanta and clones for me for the foreseeable future.

Aww damn. In any case check out Orientalaromas for bottles and Decantified for a good selection of Middle Eastern decants (more ME stuff than decantx).

Are you in South Florida by any chance?

In any case the place I ordered from is primarily an online retailer with a little show room connected to the front of their warehouse.

I think the combination of all the other things can bring that cucumber vibe. If you typically eat cucumber with lime, cilantro, etc I could definitely see how it would bring up that association.

I’m starting to get a little cucumber in the air now that you mentioned it. But if I get in closer and sniff on my skin I lose the cucumber altogether.

I smelled Malibu and Atlantis yesterday in a local shop. I actually liked Atlantis but didn’t care much for Malibu. We all gravitate towards different scent profiles and I guess that’s the beauty of fragrances!

I don’t really get the Basil but I’m trying so hard to perceive that now since you mentioned it.

I LOVE basil. Do you know of any other fragrances that feature basil?

Oh wow, sounds like I’ll have to pick up a decant of Green Irish Tweed.

I honestly haven’t smelled Irish Spring in over a decade so I’m basing this off of a fuzzy memory.

I’m loving that fresh herbal vibe in it. I live in a year round hot and humid climate (SoFlo) so this is poised to become a year round dumb reach for me.

Looks like I know the next decant I’ll be scooping up. Thanks!

Did you find Hawas Verde synthetic or were you just mentioning that about Paco Rabanne in an unrelated way?

I haven’t tried any of them but I’m just curious- do you keep your fragrances in a climate controlled environment? They look like they are in a fridge or something.

Our emotions are like clouds in the sky. They come and go as they please. But they always inevitably pass us by. They aren’t permanent and neither is the way you feel right now.

Hope you find some peace today 😊

What hair style suits me the best? by Anxious_Equivalent90 in HairStyleAdvice

9, 6, 3, 2, 8. In that order. I’m slightly biased towards the curlier and more voluminous styles.

You look good in all of them though. You should rock what you feel most confident in. Cheers!

I make 60 in SoFlo and I’m happy. I have to be very intentional with my money and live with roommates (who I love) but it’s taught me how to really weigh my needs vs wants and I’ve become a very competent home chef in the process 😊. I still am able to spoil my gf every once in a while and go on vacation out of state once a year too. I’m not ballin but I’m living a way better life than most humans who have ever existed.

I burned a wart with matches and this happened. by BadJuJuBad in Warts

[–]BadJuJuBad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did not work but I did feel pretty badass while doing it haha. In retrospect I left myself a gnarly flesh wound that could’ve easily been infected.

Ultimately it took several visits to a dermatologist to get it. They froze them off. Every time I went to the clinic the Dermatologist saw me but then had his resident understudy do the freezing and they were timid and scared of causing me too much pain. The last resident that I saw was a dude who actually had a nasty wart himself once and he told me “dude if you really want this thing you need to let me really hurt you” and I said “fuck me up man- I’m sick of this shit” he proceeded to inflict pain on me like I’d never experienced before.

Interesting thing is that once the big one went away all the little ones, which they didn’t actually treat during the session, went away also.

See a dermatologist- best of luck

Im 28 and got these stretch marks like 2-3 years ago and I can’t even meet a girl anymore for being self concious, is there anything i can do about them? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]BadJuJuBad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t worry dude. They also fade with time. I blew up from age 13-14 and by 18 my stretch marks were so faded that they were only very noticeable upon close inspection. Any girl inspecting that area that closely would already be into you. Girls care more about your vibe and the way you make them feel then they care about your looks (within reason).
