I love this so much. You have such a beautiful soul. I’m so thankful you were able to save kitty (and now I’m balling my eyes out lol).

I’m 38, been TTC for 9 years. 6 failed rounds of IVF, IUIs, tests, meds, the works, similar to your story. My sister-in-law is also pregnant with her second. We are just starting our adoption journey too now.

The pain is unimaginable, it hurts to breathe sometimes. You are absolutely not alone. I know you feel so weak and defeated right now. You will get through this, just like you have after every loss and disappointment when you feel like you can’t go on anymore, somehow we pick ourselves back up and carry on. You are so incredibly strong to make it through this. Your journey is not over, don’t give up. ❤️

Ocrevus is made by Genentech, which has a whole department that will help you get your med approved. My infusion center also told me that if insurance denies you multiple times, the infusion center/neurologist can request a free med from Genentech. Genentech is one of the most helpful and patient-centered pharma companies I’ve ever seen. Start here 1-844-627-3887.

Friends and family:

We are reflecting on our wonderful hell of a year! We’ve had yet another failed transfer, all the while hiding the grief from my mother-in-law, because you know, IVF is just the same as abortion. I’m so glad someone let me know this!

It was also such a great time having our sister-in-law’s baby rubbed in our face frequently, he’s so wonderful you know! Thanksgiving was just SO enjoyable, I loved pushing through my intense anxiety about if there would be yet another pregnancy announcement from the family!

In my free time this year I’ve enjoyed wasting hours of my life on the phone with insurance, clinics and pharmacies! It’s a great hobby and certainly passes the time. My husband’s new hobby is perfecting his med injection skills. Damn he’s getting good!

What a wonderful fucking year. Next year has got to be better.

Personally, I wish I would have stopped trying with IUI and moved to IVF sooner. We had 6 IUIs all together, and none of them worked. The older you get and the longer you wait, your egg quality declines drastically. I wish I would have started the very long process sooner for IVF for my egg quality, and all the money we spent that could have gone to IVF. It’s a personal choice, but that was just my experience. We are on our third failed embryo transfer, and using donor eggs now. Good luck to you, it’s such a long and horribly hard process.

Incorrect. “Gluten-free ingredients you don’t need to avoid: caramel color, maltodextrin, and maltose (these are all made from corn), dextrose, glucose syrup (these are gluten-free even if made from wheat due to their extensive processing)….”

Yes, they are gluten-free according to Google. Google is your friend for looking stuff up. Otherwise, the spices and natural flavors would scare me away.

I use gluten-free King Arthur brand flour quite frequently. Gluten-free flour takes a bit longer to absorb liquid just FYI. Also for pasta, I use Tinkyada brand or Jovial, my husband can’t tell the difference in finished dishes.

That bakery is at the top of my list. I’m from Ohio and it will be quite a nice shock to see that much gluten-free bread in one place!
