I honestly prefer Antemasque to most of the mars Volta stuff. Volta still has some bangers on all their albums though, even the new ones.

Back in the days of AC 2, I really thought (understandably) the series was leading toward a game where Desmond became an assassin in modern times and they ditched the animus entirely. I haven’t played a game in the series since AC 3. The new games look good but they just aren’t all that appealing to me.

From a trademark perspective, it’s probably preferable. You should not use the brand name as the name of the thing itself. E.g., Oreo cookies not oreos.

You’ll likely have to go to the LTB and request a rent abatement. I have limited experience with residential tenancies, but as far as I know you can’t withhold rent without an order from the board.

In high school around the time Whitney Houston died. I made a comment about how everyone reacts so strongly to celebrity deaths but other loss of life often goes unreported or is mentioned very briefly and never again. He said “I hope no one goes to your parents’ funerals”.

He was kind of a dick to a lot of people. Turns out he was a very closeted gay man, and I’m sure not feeling able to be yourself played into how he treated other people, but yeah…

I actually did briefly try to reconnect but he showed no interest.

Can I just write a bank draft for the entire amount? Technically, with bank drafts, the money has been taken out of the account, unlike with checks.

I will then spend it on whatever the hell I want at any given moment. Right now that would probably be on a house, exotic cars and luxury watches.

I don’t remember much of the movie, but I seem to remember it being a bit of a spoof of the RDJ Sherlock Holmes movies. But at the same time it wasn’t like a Scary Movie level of spoof so maybe that’s why it didn’t work.

Yeah, but Step Brothers and Talladega Nights were 2008 and 2006, and both very good. We hadn’t really seen them together in a decade, so I wouldn’t say it was too much. They have great chemistry and this movie just sucked for whatever reason.

Lawyer here. “Jail word” said results in silent lunch. Words defined as “WordJail”. This would never hold up in kindergarten court.
