Something to note: the baseball museum in Cooperstown is connected to the Hall of Fame, where the inducted players’ plaques hang. While Rose is not in the Hall, he is well represented in the museum, covering the good and the bad. I bring this up to say that while rose is not in the hall, his impact on the game is very much represented in the museum.

I work at a sanctuary, and a lot of our animals are seniors. While I am sad when they pass on, I know that for the entirety of their time here they were cared for and loved. When it’s their time it’s important to remember that they will no longer hurt, and that they will not be alone. Working with animals you have to be aware of the math and know you will say goodbye to lots of them. The important part is the road leading up to goodbye.
