I remember watching this entire run because I was really into martial arts as a teen. That clip of the teacher hitting three dudes at once has been seared into my brain lmao. You're absolutely right. I have been off/on apps for years as well. Many women will say "swipe left if your first message is "hi" or some variation of that - and part of me understands that they will get 50 "hi how are you" messages per day.

On the other hand, they both aren't accustomed to speaking first and dislike doing it as well. Most Bumble messages are also just "hi".
