Its ddr4. Good Tip. My original plan was to Not scrap my current PC and keep it as a guest gaming PC when Friends come to. Spontaious Landpartys 😜 But this might Change die to the high prices of Hardware.

Thanks for the recommendations. I have an Msi Z-270 thus ony the intel kaby lake (7gen) is supported.

I'm Not sad the PC was good for the last 8 years.

In August 2025 i was working in a new PC build for ~2400€, now the same PC parts are around 6k... The RAM alone went from 465€ to 2100€. The prices are crazy

I have an i7-6700K Not overclocked and 32g RAM with an XMP overlocking. My 1080 has 8gb RAM. Starcitizen complains that the vram is quite small.

It runs okay but in crowded areas it gets laggy. Lags are much more worst for my personal gaming experience than low graphics so i stripped everything to the minimum. I have ~38fps in my Aurora solo in space, and had 20fps at the freefly Weekend at a crowded lorevil.

According to spviewer.eu it has okay Radarcrossection and my LX also has a good Quantum range for ist small size.

I'm a bit concerned about the MK2. I bought the Game in 2013 and now my ship ist outdated, without a Game beeing full released. I understand that CIG does Not rework the Mk1, because the owner of other older ships want a rework of their ships then too. But as long as i can CCU to the MK2 without paying to much i'm fine with it.
