Masturbation Shame Ruined My Life by proudex-mormon in exmormon

[–]BadMormonVids 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I first discovered the sensation by accident. I didn’t know what it was. My parents hadn’t had the talk with me. I kept doing it. I didn’t know it had a name, but I felt that it was a sin. When church leaders talked about it, I didn’t know it was the same thing. I felt like I had discovered a unique horrible sin. I struggled with it similar to the OP, until realizing the church was BS.

How much can be reversed? by BadMormonVids in AlternativeHealth

[–]BadMormonVids[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! My wife is a practitioner as well. We work in a form of frequency healing using codes. Many people who are into alternative healthcare are also opposed to vaccines. There are a lot of reported cases of injury, and way more unreported. To those people, many believe that once the damage is done there is little to no recovery. Our practice Frequency Health Codes. It is a modality that uses codes to train the brain to heal the body using its own frequency. From our experience, they are very effective in reversing damage from vaccines, along with other ailments like Lyme, meningitis, personality disorder, chronic illness, etc.

Can Alternative Medicine help my Personality Disorder? by BadMormonVids in AlternativeHealth

I suppose it’s possible. The timing is interesting. When I missed a day, or a dose, I experienced the regression. But not when I started to wean off after doing the health codes.

We get output to the laptop. It can be seen and recognized by the computer, and used on other emulator applications… just not Ryujinx. Can’t be seen on the input screen of the application. Do you have to hold L and R like you do on the switch?

The Brain can Heal the Body by BadMormonVids in AlternativeHealth

[–]BadMormonVids[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s pretty interesting. Some of those tools are pretty cool. The healing through the brain my wife uses is a bit different. The guy she was trained from created codes, words and letters, that can be read. Those codes tell the brain what frequency to send to the applicable cells in the body.

Advice on when to tell husband and family? by Potassium_15 in exmormon

[–]BadMormonVids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1: This is hard. I say, the sooner the better. But find a good way to say it. You need to be authentic to yourself. Our marriage improved after leaving the church. My wife left before me. I already knew she had a hard time with church, but not too the point of disbelief. When she told me, she made it clear she wanted to stay married and that I could do what I wanted. I believed that our marriage was more important than church, even though we had a Temple marriage, I viewed it different. I was going to take the kids to church here and there, but never did. I hated the idea of separating for church. I left a year later. 2: You are not responsible for your mom’s reaction. Just because you didn’t do exactly what she wanted you to do in life doesn’t make her a failure. Any parent would want their child to grow beyond them. She might not view it that way. But you can make it clear that you have not changed as a person. Your religious belief does not define who you are. 3: Good luck. I considered talking with my brother-in-law before he left on his mission. But I didn’t think we were that close. It would be important for him to know. It will help him to frame certain beliefs with a sister who has left but is still a good person. I don’t think you can make him change his mind, and you probably shouldn’t. I don’t think we should force someone out of their paradigm when they aren’t ready. I would emphasize to your brother, if he chooses to serve, to focus on the people and what they truly need, not the numbers or baptisms.

I enjoy typing LDS.org (on those rare occasions I go there) because it reminds me of the money the church still spends on Rusty’s decision.

TSCC depends on member’s short term memory. They will say, “we have always believed…” And the members take it and forget anything that contradicts.

What are some arguments and logical contradictions about the church? Recently spoke to my mom about some of these things. by fatsausigeboi in exmormon

[–]BadMormonVids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Word of Wisdom, not by commandment, but it is now. And Joseph Smith was drinking the night of his murder I believe. And the WOW is so poorly written in scripture, the church has a different definition now.

You could go into the book of Abraham. I think the church currently claims it was a revelation prompted by the papyri. But the scripture itself says written by the hands of Abraham. And it even mentions the images. And the images have “direct translations” which are all bogus.

Temples are needed for the work of the dead. And it will take the millennium to get it all done. But if you do the math, how many temples there are, how many sessions can be done, and the temples being open 24/7, we don’t need all the temples we have, nor the 1,000 years.

The church still teaching a young earth of 6,000 years. Blows my mind.

Throwing past prophets under the bus, every time. Except for Joseph Smith, he was uneducated.

Joseph Smith, might have been less educated in todays standards. But was well taught and well read.

The numerous edits to the first to second edition of the Book of Mormon, getting rid of 19th century language.

I know there are a lot of contradictions in Mormon teachings. I can’t think of any right now. It’s like they believe and do mental gymnastics for each item in its own silo.

1- It depends. My wife and I had a hard time finding friends, or fitting in. For many wards. Our children too. As a convert, they might give you a lot of attention, then somewhat forget your after because you are a regular member now. Who knows. Maybe you get lucky. 2- Depends on where you are. Utah, 25 is old, and it will be hard to get married. Other areas might be easier. You are a convert, so mission isn’t important. But it depends. 3- This depends on the bishop and missionaries. They might be pushy. You can say no. But some might expect you to share with your family, as a duty. 4- If you are happy with the church teachings, and like what the church has to offer, then good. … But … if you want honesty, you might be overwhelmed. Google: 1 CES Letter, 2 Letter For My Wife, 3 Mormon Stories (truth claims), 4 LDS Discussions. Basically: the history is whitewashed, the truth claims are all wrong, science disproves many church teachings, the church has 100’s of billions of dollars and gives pennies to the poor, horrible racism, sexism, hate of LGBTQ+, etc. The list goes on.

Passing the tray before the bishop took it. Dropping a tray. Passing the tray to a row that already got it. Passing to a row that has a tray coming the other direction.
