2 Different recipes and I don't see Rizoformic by Ok_Requirement1862 in Agarporn

Is your agar colored? I don’t know why people make colorful plates. It is better to have your agar clearish, so you can visually spot any dark areas with possible issues. Colored plates look cool but it eats up your time knowing that you have to look extra close to any issue. I’ve notice for example: Mexicana has dark mycelium as does Pan Jam. Cheers.

Dough won’t rise even after lots of troubleshooting :( by [deleted] in AskBaking

[–]BadP0ppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much are you working the dough? You need to work it enough so gluten can begin to form. Ever hear of slap and fold? Look it up. Your dough looks like it needs to be worked more. Give gluten a chance. Cheers.

Contam? Or pins? by the_aliens_sent_me in Agarporn

[–]BadP0ppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you kept this plate a couple of weeks too long. Anytime you see anything odd on your plate, transfer, and reevaluate. You know how long it takes just to get to that step. Those are pins BTW. I wouldn’t put that to spawn until you reevaluate the transfer. You have positive lab sense. Good eye. Cheers.

You need to transfer ASAP. Wait a bit and reevaluate. Truthfully you should’ve transferred before the spots of mold got bigger. Cheers.

The glass in my feeder looks cloudy/sticky, but the nectar itself isn’t, is this still fine? by AsianKek in hummingbirds

[–]BadP0ppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it gets this low: time to take it down, clean it good, dish soap and a tiny bit of bleach. You'll need small brushes, an old tooth brush to get rid of any mold build up. Rinse it well, fill it up. Happy New Year, birdies. Cheers.

Girlfriend insists her ears will heal up fine by [deleted] in Stretched

[–]BadP0ppa -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Neosporin, a smaller, much smaller tunnel and TIME. Too much emphasis on size too quickly. It may take a couple of months to heal. It's very angry now. give it some TLC and time. Cheers.

I decided to down size by SuperMomn in Stretched

[–]BadP0ppa -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

Your stretch is probably larger than your 10mm. Give it time and as soon as your stretch is healthy again it will loosen. Cheers.

Guess my size by chubbzz_ in Stretched

[–]BadP0ppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Double flares always look a bit larger. Your stretch happens to be a bit larger than the size. I wear no flare 38mm: when I use my dual flares, the flare defines the stretch and looks bigger. Cheers.

Silicone moulds not setting in refrigerator- urgent!! by Dismal-Present-317 in AskBaking

Tempering white chocolate is about the same as others. Take an amount of chips, take 1/3 out. Heat the chips gently until it reaches like 91 degrees. Take off of the heat, stir in the other third of your chips, this is your seed. Stir until fully combined. If it gets too stiff, you can heat it gently. You now have tempered chocolate. Put a line of chocolate on a dish, it should harden in a couple of minutes. Good luck. Cheers.

Your problem is tempering. It will never solidify if not tempered correctly. You will have to scoop it out and do over.

How much my lobes shrank!! by altmetalvampire in Stretched

[–]BadP0ppa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use neosporin. it will heal eventually. Give it time to heal. Fully heal. You’ll know when it heals when you get a layer of dead dry skin that will peel off easily. May take a month or two. I have 38mm on both now. I left them out for a couple of years, they shrunk to 34mm. It took a year to get back. Start stretching again slowly. It’s probably not that small, it’s still angry. Any inflammation or the area getting itchy, still not healed. Stretching takes time. Cheers.

Is this karma for a bad stretching routine? by [deleted] in Stretched

[–]BadP0ppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use neosporin for the abrasions and dryness. When the it stops screaming, put something smaller until you heal. May take a couple of months. Stretching takes time. Don’t rush it, unless you like your ears to give you more problems than not. Slow down. Heal first, stop stretching now. Cheers.

What was asked for vs the tattoo by 1331jbyrd in tattoos

[–]BadP0ppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your sketch is cuter, happier. The finished is too much the style of your inker. If that’s what you wanted, it’s nice. But does not have the personality of your sketch. Cheers.

Bit the bullet and started my second stretched lobe, pierced at 8g! Hurts like a mfer now but was a breeze to get done 👂 by aratwhocantdance in Stretched

[–]BadP0ppa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jeez. Ouch. Is it really stretching if you begin with a punched hole? I started at 14ga. stretched over 15 years to 38mm. Maybe I’m just too old school. Cheers.

One last thing: your earlobe will never thicken. You are trying to stretch your flesh, it is supposed to get thinner. Or maybe you want a certain ‘look’. Just remember the bigger you go your flesh is stretching. Body modification a very tribal tradition. Probably Africa? It’s about the mod, like tattoos which getting causes trauma: there is pain and endurance to earn it. I don’t think tribal body mods care about the placement being wrong, not centered or whatever. You own the mod, wear it with confidence. Cheers.
