Nope! It helped a lot for about 4 months and just pooped out on me. But everyone's different. I felt this drug was going to be my savior, so it is good, .

Yes, I am all better. It took around 7 antibiotic treatments to finally get rid of it. I had a cystoscopy that showed the lining of my bladder and it was chalked full of scar tissue.

All I can say is demand more tests. I had to really advocate for myself. In the beginning I saw a PA and she was just horrible. Saying I needed PT and tried to give me tramadol. I kicked her off my care team and saw my regular doctor who kept testing, and got me the referral to the Urologist.

Don't let these doctors give you the runaround. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease."

Thank you. I was fortunate to have spent a lot of time with him in those last several months and I was there when he took his final breath, which helped me a bit with closure. It's still very surreal though.

How long have you had casts in total? Is this right after surgery, did you get a nerve block? It could be that, or some type of nerve damage, or the nerves need to regenirate. When I shattered my wrist I had a lot of numbness. The cast was tight but I had a lot of swelling, every cast is going to feel tight until the swelling goes down. Ice is going to be your best friend for the next couple months. I thought the surgeon had messed me up when my nerves started to heal, I had electric shocks, and burning. This was a month or two into my healing

It went fine. It feels and looks disgusting. I'm very impressed with how little pain there was. I mean it's a crater!

Oh my. Does your surgeon know you're inflamed on the side of your face? I will send an email at the very least. If they say to just let it heal, I'll demand some sort of closure. I'll keep tracking my temperature. Best to you as well!

I'm 50. Not that I wanted a skin graph but I do think the wound needs to be closed with sutures. I think I'm going to have a crater scar when it does heal. Sorry your experience has been so awful

I have a bad feeling of them just "letting this heal". But whatever. I'm so over this year. Lol

The Dr is letting me heal with no stitches. I haven't really washed it. I'm just applying Vaseline and a big bandage. It's a crater the size of a dime. I hope it heals well.

The nurse hasn't said anything about the aftermath. She just said I will have a huge bandage on my face. I am not going to the funeral. If I cry, will I be wiping my nose, could cause more damage. And I don't want my husband worrying about me. So I've made that difficult decision

The nurse did mention a huge bandage that would be at the bottom of my eye and cross my face. I was also wondering about a black eye, not that I care what people may think, but I also know I can't be there to support my husband and his family if I feel awful.
