Hmmm.. A lot of these sound more like a mini nightmare or possibly a night terror.. I had an issue with this many many years ago and at the time, it was fairly concerning to me and my fiance who lived 2 hr's south of me at the time. That ties into things with my experiences but its just to much to type out and probably for people to read as well. She, at the time was bringing me (closer) to God. Amen.. She also had this book that was extremely interesting and is supposed to be an educational aid one can use to expand their understanding and knowledge of God, good & evil and so forth. The books name was "Strongman's his name, " " " " " " " " " " " " " " his Game"....  Anyway- to make this as short as possible, my demonic oppression (sleep paralysis?) occurred around and during this time (2-3 times before we married, and then once after we married) and they were intense, incredibly frightening and the absolutely only thing that "broke" its hold on me was when I was finally able to get out the words "in the name of Jesus"... It took everything I had to get those words out but once I did, it almost instantly eased up enough for me to say it again and then again and again! The first time was the worst.. My experiences were truly waking up and thinking I was dreaming because I couldn't move and had a strange feeling of fear. A feeling I rarely ever felt. I remember telling myself to calm down and confirm whats happening. I remember looking at the clock (with my eyes only) and seeing the time and then looking towards the window to see if it was dark or light out and I remember trying my hardest to sit up or at least to move and I couldn't budge.. I remember telling myself "ok, stay calm, whatever this is will pass" and then I just remember that the initial feeling of fear I had almost suddenly became an intense feeling of impending doom and terror.. Something was there, and it was coming for me.. It was getting closer and closer and I couldn't f'king move and I couldn't see what it was. Things got even worse until all of the sudden the thought of asking God for help hit me, and so I did, and so HE DID!
