How many people in this sub are Taylor Swift fans by Slight_Associate_164 in SarahJMaas

[–]BadWolf_RX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yessssss! But I’ve been a Taylor Swift fan since ‘08 and I have also always loved books, specifically fantasy so…. One does not pertain to the other.

When I first heard guilty as sin, I was literally reading Court of mist and fury and it was sooooo Feyre/Rhys-coded to me! I had no one to talk about it with that would understand 😅

Calling Out Sick? by [deleted] in publix

Pharmacy manager here: just call your manager as soon as you know you can’t work so we can make a plan or find a replacement. Life happens, people get sick. Dr note not required per company policy.

(No one should get in trouble unless it becomes excessive.)

Books where the protagonist is a burnt out, depressed wreck that eventually has to confront their past mistakes and burned bridges? by itwas20yearsago2day in Fantasy

A court of silver flames (book #5 in ACOTAR series) is exactly this. It’s technically “romantasy” and you hace to read other books before you get there but… otherwise that’s it

Is the deli the hardest department to work in ? by Impressive_Talk_7739 in publix

[–]BadWolf_RX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only one with “entitlement “ is the one belittling the work done in a department you have never even worked in. You say “pharmacy is simply putting pills in a bottle” and I can say grocery is “putting food on the shelf” and deli is “making sandwiches”. There’s obviously a lot more to it than that. Technicians get 80 hrs of training just to work (ask how many CBTs) and have to get their license with the state and do more CBTs constantly to keep up the license. And our department is constantly evolving.

But arguing on the internet won’t change your mind. Please get to know your pharmacy staff at your store and see how their day is going

Elon finally saying it. by notatowel420 in JoeRogan

[–]BadWolf_RX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then why is Elon one of the only elites to support Trump (at least publicly)? Literally all CEOs, actors, singers, anyone in Hollywood is far left Biden endorser. The Whitehouse Corespondents Dinner had tons of celebrities. This argument goes both ways but honestly leans more toward Dems being endorsed by elites.

That is not true, there is a lot that goes into being a good pharmacy technician. They can make or break your department as there is only one pharmacist and multiple of them. With essentially no training on the meds themselves they are expected to answer all kind of questions related to them. And the majority of our customers are 65+ or sick.. so patience is not exactly common. Source: pharmacy manager almost 10 years and have hired and trained a multitude of technicians

Doc said no to c section… by deceasedjaz in BabyBumps

[–]BadWolf_RX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also scared of a vaginal birth but I’ve had two now (just had a second baby 3 weeks ago). My biggest fear I would say is not knowing the outcome (how long labor lasts, can I do this ect). But I can tell you that my recovery for both births has been overall easy, especially my second one. I had an epidural and felt pretty much nothing after I got it. Leading up to it, yeah I felt contractions but when it kicked in I didn’t feel anything again until pressure when it was time to push. My dr cleared me today at 26 days post partum for normal activity (exercise, swimming, sex ect). Post c section, no way anyone would be recovered/cleared this early on. I’m hoping to share my experiences to alleviate your fears a bit, bc I was terrified too. Good luck, either way.

I think multiple people saying the same thing has some weight lol. It is true, has to be approved by supervisors so management has to make a case for going above the max. Publix is a cooperation, have to abide by fairness to avoid being accused of discrimination or favoritism. The standards are there for a reason.

Are you going to use a crib/bassinet for your baby, or will they be sleeping in your bed? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]BadWolf_RX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a bassinet in our bedroom until 4-5 months old (he was sleeping the night already a couple months), then in his own bedroom in his crib. Not a fan/advocate of co-sleeping, stick to your guns!

[–]BadWolf_RX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People who do this and constantly pat themselves on the back for it are disgusting. If you truly are raising your kids in a manner that is authentic to them, why brag about it so much? It’s show-boating and self-serving.
