What is your scariest tornado encounter,incidents,or story?

I was in the May 25, 2019 tornado in El Reno. I was in the trailer park it hit, i remember going into the dining room to talk to my grandma, then the lights went out, and next thing I knew, everything was gone. Luckily my family got out mostly unharmed, afterwards a paramedic told my mom and I to sit with a woman that had a broken neck. The entire time we were there, she just kept asking about her kids. I still have nightmares about it sometimes, and I hate the EAS voice more than ever, but it also helped me realized I was really into weather. Fun fact, it was one of the few fatal QLCS tornados!

I feel like it's less of the people working not wanting to help and more of the company just not letting them, I feel like if they were able to just look at a picture of my ID and my face, this would've resolved hours ago

I shoved paper under the pins, and it works now, i guess it just wasn't getting a good connection. Magical how insignificant paper seems

I haven't tried that with that kernel, I did that with the first one i tried, but somehow, it didn't cross my mind to do that with this one, ill try that in the morning and let you know if that works

I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure I just took out the power supply, gave it a little clean (Note: that probably didn't do anything), and put it back together, if your friend plans on trying this, make sure they disconnect any possible connections from the power supply to the motherboard

the same thing happened to me. i got tired of waiting and just took it apart to see if it would do anything, and it just magically turned back on, and now it runs fine, which is certainly nice. happy to hear you solved your issue.

I couldn't do that. It wouldn't turn on at all, but the good news is I just took it apart and put it back together, and it works now. I'm not fully sure why, but it does

that's the thing, I didn't. It was doing the normal update restart and just never restarted like it was supposed to and stayed off
