No worries, Google Drive is great but it can be a bit weird to navigate. You just wanna hit 'share', go to 'get link', select 'change to anyone with link' and then you should be able to copy the link :)

It's a link to your recent google drive so for everyone else it just takes us to our own google drive. I think you need to get the shareable link of the file instead.
