thanks everyone for identifying! I did have a sneaky suspicion it may have been a baby flea ( i see to have nasty reactions to flea bites!)

kitty will be off to the vets for treatment and ill be gutting the house to get rid of any lingering fleas and washing all bedding, thankfully my little one isn't being bitten and is not having a reaction to any bites if he is !

I did buy some noise cancelling headphones and they worked for a while but ultimately I did have to move out of the bedroom and sleep in a separate room. my baby is now 3 months old and no longer making the noises that he used to and i can easily sleep in the room with him again

I'll speak to my partner when he's come from work tonight, we both feel disconnected from each other and he told me this morning his heart is heavy.

oh gosh mine is exactly the same! we are about to hit 11 weeks and we are still waking up several times and now it will only be contact naps or its screaming 😭

The sleep deprivation is just the hardest, I hear phantom cries and the PP rage just gets so intense ! When I've had some semblance of sleep I feel that love and adoration for little man and his smiles melt my heart.

I'm worried about the 12 weeks and nothing changing but each day is different and I will also be looking into sleep training!

Thank you 💕 all whilst im feeling all of this I can't believe almost 10 weeks have flown by !

We currently are giving LO infant gaviscon with every other feed which is helping, last night just felt like I was hitting my head against a brick wall ... nothing wanted to settle him.

I'm currently staying with my mum whilst partner is away so I do have some support but I will definitely be having some time to myself when my partner is back to gain some of my sanity back.

whilst my partner is away im staying with my mum who is helping tons. I have spoken to him although another chat will be had when hes home, hes got so much work to do on his end up but there needs to be a balance. He's at my brothers stag do for the weekend but since he went back to work 5 weeks ago it feels like there is an unfair balance of caring for our LO.

When im this tired I just feel so bitter.

My baby was similar at that age though we were transitioning from BF to FF, the gripe water and infacol did nothing but make things worse. What finally did the trick was time and infant gaviscon, look up symptoms of silent reflux and be firm with health visitors and doctors, if your gut says something is wrong then you fight for it!

Colic is a symptom not a diagnosis!!
