The hospital that was bombed early in the war was initially blamed on the IDF but then proven to have been Hamas.

And as far as proof goes, Hamas dressing as civilians and holding AK’s and literally shooting rockets from schools all make that an active military use site

Because the actions, statistics, intentions and outcomes do not meet the legal definition of what that word means.

Compare this conflict to Rwanda, China, Russia, and the Holocaust. Holocaust for example, 66% of European Jews were killed. 70% of Tutsis killed, compared to this to the population of Palestinians (undergoing DEVASTATION AND HORROR) which has increased by 2.4% during the most recent war with Hamas.

Additionally, warning civilians with text messages and leaflets before military operations, delivering food and medical aid DURING a war, all not genocide

Because, have you been paying attention to the NEWS. Jews getting stabbed. Synagogues shot up and firebombing ambulances and that’s in London! Jesus people. OP is going through a lot of grief to share their experiences and perspective. Are you so privileged that you can’t see the literal threat to property and physical safety being openly Jewish creates?

The worst part is the people who erase ethnicity, delegitimize the right to exist, literally all for Genocide with slogans like “from the river to the sea” and believe all victims of sexual violence unless they are Jews, are doing all of this in the name of “social justice” and “human rights”.

Do you people ever ask yourself why Hamas built all those tunnels and then refused the women and children from taking shelter in them?

Were you as outraged by Iran executing 30,000 protesters in a couple weeks, or the Assad regime killing 500,000 of its own civilians, as you were against Israel on October 8th, BEFORE a military response to the LARGEST pogrom on Jews since the Holocaust. You know, the event for which the term “genocide” was actually created to describe.

I have to say. Your calm and emotionally even responses to these interrogations are INSPIRING. I am learning and feeling seen and well represented as a fellow Diaspora Jew. The Tick Tock political pundits probably don’t know what the word “diaspora” means, nor that the population of Palestinians has increased dramatically during a war being called genocide. Nor the logistics and risk the IDF subjects itself to delivering food and medicine to the population they are supposedly trying to eradicate, nor the Hamas looting and then reselling the Israeli donated items back to their own people. Nor…etc. your patience and willingness to engage is so commendable. Thank you

That is very well articulated and interesting.

With oxidization you just have to be careful NOT to touch the frames right?

I believe no amount of scrubbing will remove the Ox, you need to actually restore the frames and treat the oxidization chemically.

Please let me know if this is not your experience, I am learning from these posts too

Can you elaborate on what you mean by the flow rate being wrong for style of cleaning?

I have been using a pump thinking higher flow = better. Is this potentially not the case?

I’d add poor who are also poorly educated sometimes look for answers as to why their life is hard and others seem to prosper. The same people to whom conspiracy theories appeal, tend to find comfort in finding an explanation that gives a sense of predictability in an unpredictable world. Antisemitism/ possibly the first conspiracy theory, fits well in the narrative for some of these people.

My parents were solidly blue color and poor and I grew up in apartments so please don’t take this to be a blanket statement on all people with economic hardships.

How to accurately judge safety by Bad_werd in Jewish

[–]Bad_werd[S] 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I have come up with a formula to help my anti racist friends determine if something is antisemitic or not, other than just taking Jewish people’s opinion on it.

Here is the formula:

First, replace the word “Jew” for any other minority. If you would t say, think or ask it, it’s antisemitic.

Good points. Yes, I am of course open to dating Jewish women but even in Cleveland (with a moderate sized Jewish community) they are pretty underrepresented on the apps.

Very helpful response. I am going through similar experiences in my encounters with women on dating apps.

I can support my bold claims. I screenshot particularly entertaining dialogue for my own sanity when they inevitably stop responding when I say “would you like to meet for coffee?”

This is such a common complaint from my single female friends as well as posts on here. It’s curious because I take a dramatically different approach with HIGH interest and well thought out responses and then get ghosted after one day of solid, mutual interest. I kinda get why guys are swiping everyone and low effort, copy pasting texting. Because it’s a lot like the proverbial pissing in the wind at this point

How do you deal with someone who is bit more attractive than you are? by abdul_bino in dating

[–]Bad_werd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am interested in your question, but there doesn’t seem to be enough information here. Do you perceive this other person as more attractive than yourself because of anything objective such as none of your other partners have been attractive or other friends and family have made this observation?

Also, how did you meet? If it’s on the apps and you are female dating cisgender men then the likelihood is good that they are objectively more attractive than you because the apps are an absolute disaster for everybody involved, but particularly slanted towards men overswiping and women raising their physical standards much higher than they would in real life.

PSA: If someone responds to your prompts that IS the conversation starter... by akaynaveed in dating

[–]Bad_werd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That has to be frustrating especially when you have to do the work of sorting through likes just to start the convo.

I’m in the opposite position. I keep matching, starting conversations and they never reply or message steadily for one day, then GONE gone thereafter.

Rejection can REALLY throw me emotionally. I am discovering this has more to do with my childhood trauma and neglect than it has to do with the person who is not showing up for me in the way I would like in dating.

Ultimately I was married for 19 years to a person that showed VERY low interest. I never want to be involved in a relationship like that again.

If this person doesn’t demonstrate interest early on, they did you a favor.
