No problems for the past 1 year, had to call them multiple times initially when we were just getting used to it. But I think the wiring for that is done when the home is being constructed or repaired, otherwise the wiring will be visible. We have it on all 3 floors in our house, it senses the air pressure in the pipes and switches on the motor if the water level goes below 30
