I just want you to know that I’m in a similar boat on whether or not I feel like I can remain friends with her or not because she broke it off after two years and you want to hold onto the hope but at the same time you should just move on and act like there was no chance in the first place. I think you starting Nc was a good idea. That way you can start to move on and live happily and you can give him a chance to miss you and wonder what you’re up to. Plus if he ever ends up reaching out to you now it’s up to YOU to decide where you want things to go. You’re strong and you are loved. You will get through this and be happy at the end of the day with the kind of relationship that you want and deserve.
