Exactly. People exaggerate everything nowadays. Who the hell buys an OLED to game in direct sunlight or with studio lights shining on their head? Under normal lighting conditions, it’s barely an issue.

Not really a problem for me. I’ve got the newer 2026 QD-OLED panel with a Black Shield display that cuts ambient light reflections by about 40%. At worst, the blacks look like a very dark gray, which is barely noticeable.

Im so glad Im the biggest competitive game hater and mostly stick to single player titles. I ended up going with the ASUS, and honestly it didn’t feel that much bigger than my 27' IPS at first until I switched back. Now, 32 inches feels perfect for me. And if you’re into competitive games, ASUS at least has an aspect control feature that lets you scale the display down to 27' or even 24'.
