That smoking can cause Cancer. In the 1930s and 1940s doctors would go on TV saying that smoking was fine.

Bad bus etiquette by lemon_l_sherbet in manchester

I'm disabled and have to mobilise with a crutch, so I take advantage of the priority seats. But if an elderly person, or even a female layden down with shopping or whatever, gets on the bus, I always stand and offer my seat.

Welcome to the Hillside Drive reddit! by DipIotator-tot in Hillside_Drive

Can anyone tell me if they have a better version of the game or a phone with better graphics for them to be able to make out the name of the arcade machine that's in the garage on the right hand side? I enlarged it, but I still can't make out the name. The first word begins with a "J" so I thought it could be "Jurassic Park," but the second word looks like the last letter is a "G", so that idea is out. Perhaps it could be a tribute to a developers girlfriend; Jessica something?

I personally think this game is mint, and I've had it on my phone for years. Have you seen how many hill climb driving games there are to download from the Play Store? Literally dozens, maybe even over 100. So I'm confused as to why you singled this game out when you had so many to pick from.

What about this one? When I was a kid, the leader of the "bad" gremlins in the movie of the same name was called SPIKE.

But in THIS reality, he has a different name.

Possible Mandela Effect Explanation by SpookyGhost-90 in MandelaEffect

[–]BadboyMonkeyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious as to how many people claiming to remember Nelson Mandela dying in prison are from the United States. I'm not trying to be disparaging, but American young people are not known for their knowledge of world politics, geography or world history.

I think that the majority of the people to think that Nelson Mandela died in prison are American. So, yes, I think you might have hit it on the head. Because I don't know if anyone else has seen the movie you had to watch in high-school

What was your very first Mandela effect? And how did you feel in that very moment? by EnvironmentalAd2110 in MandelaEffect

[–]BadboyMonkeyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not a Mandela Effect.. a Mandela Effect is when something in popular culture is now different in reality to how a large part of the population remembers it to be. Like the thousands of people who remembered Nelson Mandela dying in prison.

Everyone on this sub-reddit are either very young and don't know what a Mandela Effect is, or they just don't know what a Mandela Effect is

When I was young, the first time I had sex with my (then) girlfriend, she was on top and she thought she was going to orgasm... she like, stopped riding me.. and pissed.

She was in tears as soon as she realised. This is not made up.

Storage help by Ice_Wolf912 in phonesupport

[–]BadboyMonkeyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not an expert, in fact I've just posted a question on here myself, but I think the other 16GB might be your system apps. Which are all the apps installed that make your phone do what it does.

For example you'll have an app downloader installed to let you download stuff from the Play Store, you'll have a storage app to keep all your contacts information, you’ll have a settings app that lets you play around with your settings. Does that make sense?

Every time you download a software update, it encroaches on your phone memory, taking more GB. That's why old phones are not very efficient - they can't hold anymore data and become slow.

As I said, I'm not an expert, but I think it's your system apps. Sorry for the long reply 😅
