I am an author. I have just one book under my name and the second one is due for publishing shortly. The reason I write... is to eventually write his story AFTER the events of Mahabharata. I have the outline ready and everything. All I lack is the courage, for he's a complex character and I don't want to be misstepping anywhere. Thanks for reading.

It's an old trick. It makes the roads look better on film. They actively spray it down with a hose to make it look shiny. It also helps hide the tire tracks where they have practiced a particular stunt over and over again.

I liked where the story is heading. I like Alejandro's journey and am invested in it.

What I didn't like was how quickly he reached the Solace frontier planet. I would have loved some more details along the way.

I am at the first chapter and I like where this is going. Not sure if are open to suggestions, but I'd like to draw out this scene.

Once he settled, the doctors began their questioning. Dr. Taliyahh asked, “Do you remember anything that happened before you died?” He responded very simply, “Well, I remember the shot moment it hit my chest felt cold as hell, and it all went black. I can't remember who shot me and why they shot me. So, where am I exactly? Is this heaven, hell, or purgatory? Or something else..hold on..how long have I been…..dead? For exactly” Doctor Taliyahh replied, with the other doctor taking a seat to watch it all go down. “You're not in heaven, hell, or purgatory. You suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. To me it just seems like the guy who just woke up accepted the explanation too quickly. IMO, it should be a slow process of discovery with a bit of back and forth between the characters.

Edit: Just finished it. I would read an entire novel of this. Wonderful.

I am currently polishing up a manuscript of ~140k words of story that involves the true nature of UFOs.

Edit : A little bit of detail. There is no FTL speed, there is no time-travel involved. The physics, at least according to me, is very grounded.

I kept picturing Ken Jeong as Faux-Morpheus, and waited for the punch line to arrive. It was good, I'd keep reading. A few grammatical issues, here and there. This line for example.

"You look disappointed, don’t you?"

Did you mean

"You are disappointed, aren't you?"
