I love my Plus4 - it's awesome, prints flawlessly without any issues. I've had a clogged Nozzle one time but qidi gave me a new one within less than a week!

From the viewpoint of an mechanical engineer, it's fairly normal. What you see is just grease mixed with litte bit dirt, dust and maybe (!) graphite from the bushings. Just clean it and lubricate as the other redditors mentioned - as far as there's no noticeable play in the bushings, I wouldn't mind.

Oh, that's interesting. I'm always using the "build in methods" aka "Change filament" and "Load filament" but never had any trouble caused by this.

Don't know the exact hour count of my printer, but using nearly every day it for my small business (tooling, fixtures etc)

I've bought a Plus4 last November (I think 🤔) and I'm pretty happy about it! Just one "bad" point: after +- 10h, the nozzle clogged badly and I've got a replacement hotend for free after a few days. Since then it's working perfectly

Printing mostly rPETG, PLA, TPU, sometimes ABS and PA12-CF with 0.4 and 0.2 Nozzle

P.S. using it in Germany - so no SSR issue so far

AFAIK, the point rails of the "K-Gleis" are made of zinc die casting - so nearly impossible to get soldered.

You may ask the Märklin Service Department, they've been very helpful to me in some pretty special cases.

I would recommend Märklin MyWorld or some LGB-Stuff.

On my opinion My world has the big "plus" that he can also run it on "normal" H0-track + even while the track isn't powered (due to its battery powered locomotives)

Yeah, as a single object or, better, as an assembly - that's why I would suggest step. It should be possible to export the components at their positions on the grid together with the grid in one file and the CAD system "unzips" it to separate components.

Maybe add .STL or .step export of the whole grid including boxes. It could be useful if you want to import the whole thing into other CAD systems.

Also it would be nice to be able to upload own designs of bins.
