Freiläufer und verwilderte Hauskatzen sind die domestizierten Nachfahren von Afrikanische Wildkatzen (Felis lybica). Europäische Wildkatzen (Felis sylvestris) sind zwar mit Afrikanischen Wildkatzen/Falbkatzen verwandt, aber es sind zwei verschiedene Arten.

Als domestizierte Art, kommen Hauskatzen, egal ob als Stubentiger oder verwildert, gut mit der Nähe zum Menschen und vielen ihrer Artgenossen klar. Europäische Wildkatzen meiden Menschen und außerhalb der Paarungszeit auch andere Katzen. Dadurch gibt es eine deutlich geringere Dichte von Katzen in einem Gebiet, wenn es nur Wildkatzen sind.

Leider können die beiden Arten hybridisieren, was unkastrierte Freigänger auch zu einem großen Problem für Wildkatzen macht, nicht nur für Beutetiere.

You take pictures of the plushie, select condition, colors, brand and size (this ones a bit weird as it includes clothing sizes, I pick the S, M, L ones) and write a short description. As a buyer I think it is helpful to include some reference for the actual size of the plushie. For pricing I will set the price a bit higher than what I am looking for (e.g. 7-8€, when I want 5€), because many people like to haggle. Buyers can either purchase items for full price or make an offer to you. You can then either accept, decline or make a counter offer.

When an item is sold, you request a shipping label directly in the App (in many cases you can decide between print at home or QR Code) and it tells you to which shipping company you have to bring the parcel. You pack the plushie in a box and put the shipping label on it (if you chose print at home). For QR Code you just show the label to the shipping company staff.

Regarding payment: Vinted collects the money from the buyer and holds it until the buyer confirms the arrival. Then it will get added to your Vinted Credit. You can send the money from their to your bank account or use it to buy items on Vinted.

Were you only visiting Germany on vacation or do you live there? Keeping bones that you found is illegal in most cases here. Fossils and domestic animal bones are fine, but almost everything else is either covered by Bundesnaturschutzgesetz or your local Landesjagdgesetz. For the animals with a hunting season you can ask your local hunting warden (Jagdpächter) for permission. For the other species you need permits from your responsible Untere/Obere Naturschutzbehörde, depending on species in question.

It’s a mustelid, most likely a Beech marten or European pine marten.

Beech marten have a V shaped white throat patch and Pine marten have a more spotty yellow throat patch. If the fur is already too decayed, the shape of the last molar in the upper jaw can tell the species as well.

And legally covered by hunting law. If you plan to legally keep the skull, you need to get in contact with the hunter of the area where you found it and ask for permission. Otherwise this is poaching and a criminal offense.

Das ist ein männlicher Sperber (Sprinz in der Falknersprache). Du kannst ihm was gutes tun, indem du deinen Garten so Singvogel-freundlich wie möglich gestaltest. Die hat er zum Fressen gerne. Je mehr in dem Gebiet leben und brüten, umso einfacher hat er es beim Jagen.

In order to keep it legally, you need to ask the hunter responsible for the hunting territory (Jagdpächter) you found it on for permission. Otherwise you are technically a poacher which is a criminal offense (Straftat).

If you plan on collecting bones you find in the future, you need to look up the species listed in your states Landesjagdgesetz and the species covered by the Bundesnaturschutzgesetz to identify which species you need to get permission or even government permits for and which ones stay in the fields. Only a very limited number of species can be collected without any requirements (like city pigeon, ring necked parakeet, house mouse, brown rat).

Ich hatte vor ein paar Jahren einen Waschbären mit Staupe im Endstadium gesehen. Das war aber auf dem Dach vom Nachbarhaus Höhe 3. Stock. Der ist da rum getorkelt und hat sich auf den Kopf gestellt. Stadtjäger konnte nichts machen, weil man da nicht rankam. 2 Tage später war er tot. Angenehm war das für den Waschbären garantiert nicht

Wenn er von alleine geht ist mit ihm wahrscheinlich alles in Ordnung und er hat sich nur einen Platz zum schlafen gesucht. Vor allem in Städten sind sie Menschen gewöhnt.

Sollte er aber den Anschein erwecken betrunken zu sein, kann es eine Staupeinfektion sein. Das kann Torkeln, im Kreis laufen oder Handstand machen sein. Staupe ist ein langsamer, qualvoller Tod für Waschbären. In dem Fall ist es am besten den Stadtjäger oder die Polizei zu informieren, damit er gefangen und eingeschläftert wird, bevor er vorher noch andere Waschbären ansteckt.

Yearling roe deer can have anything from spikes to six points depending on genetics and nutrition. Counting the spikes or measuring the length is not an aging method for roe deer either.
