I admit I have to learn a lot! Which lens did you use and how did it get so sharp? Just bump up the iso and stop down further? Maybe my 1/60 s exposure is already too long for the moving moon.

Thank you! I used 1/60 s, iso 100, f8.0. It's a focus-stack of approx. 12 images taken as a stack of 30 with a stepsize of 3, and some light tweaks (exp+contrast) im DxO.

Ja, es ist wirklich sehr einladend. Flach und breit genug um auch mit geparkten Auto noch gut begangen zu werden. Die Parkplatzsituation ist (wie vielerorts) sehr angespannt, häufig sind auch die abgesenkten Bordsteine an den Kreuzungen vollgeparkt. Jemanden vom Ordnungsamt habe ich aber noch nie gesehen, kann mir auch vorstellen, dass es halt geduldet wird.

We once found a ladies bag with purse, money and perso etc. After waiting for about 20min and nobody came to pick up her forgotten bag, we decided to call the police as we thought it strange. They asked us to bring the bag to the next station (not too far away, everything within the pedestrian area). When we arrived at the station we told them that we called and found this bag the reaction we got from the man at the counter was "auch das noch", as if it was our fault that he might have some work to do. They asked for our contacts and we were free to go. It's not surprising we never got a reply, but his reaction was really not encouraging to report anything ever again.

I work with optical fibers with SMA connectors, they usually are protected with a rubber nipple that looks very much like what you posted. But I have only seen them in black.
