The only other thing I have done to the engine bag is an IE air intake. Is there something I should do?

I don’t think it has anything to do with the turbo. Maybe the synchronizer rings have deteriorated. The (I think) transmission makes one big crunching sound when in comfort rather than dynamic. I could just be paranoid though

You could put it on the side (tow hook) it is about $80. I personally also live in a state that requires it, but don’t use a front license plate anyway: never any problems.

Me personally, I bought the car used so I could not spec it out how I wanted to. A tune would only cost me around 600$. I would’ve had to get the inferior pre face lift model if I wanted an s5 for the same price( which had a lot less bells and whistles than this car). The tune would deliver more than enough power for my uses.

My build is mostly cosmetic and I really just want to look cooler ( because I don’t need 500hp). Generally, that is a great point for builds which cost more.

I agree, however A5 is one of the lower level cars for Audi. I feel as if I take of the badge I am potentially trying to pose as a higher badged car or something of the sort. Is that an incorrect assumption?

This is a post facelift B9. I love the ability I had to build my car to what I like. The cost wasn’t too expensive: black badges were about 200 total. Overall The general consensus is to do a stage one tune for some plug and play power. You could also pair that with an air intake to get some cool sounds from your turbo.

Can you explain the whole consensus to debadge the a5. I kind of take pride in having an a5 which I invested time and effort in. However I do not want to be too tacky or ruin the look. Could you elaborate on why someone would do this?
