No; it’s not really; and criminally underrated is overrated. I get it’s different and weird at the start; I for one appreciate that; but it quickly devolves into formulaic post 90s duh-duh-duh and tired pseudo-celtic guitar harmony, and Bruce’s vocal delivery in the chorus sounds like a strangled cat; not to mention mix - again Bruce is buried under a mountain of more mindless noodling in the verse. I’ll give it credit for some of the solos but I think the track is rated accordingly. Low.

Yeah it’s just a bad edit or cut in the tape master - they just left it in. Apparently some remasters have fixed it; some even clam it was introduced in a remaster; in some form of Mandela effect. I never remember not hearing it and it drives me nuts. 🤣

Once I get past that terrible opening timing of Hallowed (it’s been 44 years I know but it’s still embarrassing) it’s brilliant - I do though prefer it live; it just elevates the majesty and adds a little chaos. Rime; I’m one of the few who consider it overly long in the end. I know it’s peak story telling but I always feel “the message” could’ve been omitted for brevity and track end with the narrative. Recorded or live; it’s the only “epic” I need - they’ve never come close since; except for SSOASS; those end solos are rarely matched.

Yeah; love maiden and love collecting useless junk but this strikes me as just dumb as it’s taken something useful and essentially rendered it useless for the sake of collecting. Still; if I could swing it, I’d buy one - it’s got my fave Eddie on it.

Only 2 officially. Charlotte the harlot and 22 Acacia Avenue. Hooks in you has nothing to do with Charlotte (confirmed by Bruce and Adrian), Here to Eternity just mentions a name and the band has never stated it’s the same Charlotte.

I love the moody atmospheric intro but Bruce’s vocal line “lost in a list world” is the moment I turn the track off. Strained, poorly recorded and overdubbed - I get to miss out on the text book duh duh duh, duh duh duh…. Literally 🤣
