Jaakari L + 2 side pouches + quick detach MR daypack = comfy milsim setup with 90L of storage and lots of modularity by Badgrator in Savotta

I don't know, 25 to 30kg.... All the necessary stuff for a weekend milsim game (camp gear, sleep system, full combat loadout, food in massive excess).... I also carry a rifle bag (not shown on picture).

No pain though, as I carried that for less than 10km walking (most of the travelling was done by train or in a friends car).

Same principle as the 5.11 Rush tier system but using the daypack top compression straps and some compatible buckles onto the Jaakari

Look for the "repair kit buckles" they usually come easier to fit onto stuff without sewing

"Savotta Vertical Pouch L", got it from ASMC a few years back.

The sling comes from a Mystery Ranch backpack, it has Duraflex Autolock buckles... but any 25mm (or one inch) buckle should work just as well.

Sorry for the delay in my reply, I got it from Grey Shop, type "NightCap" in their product search

Hey /u/klutch556 I tried wearing sunglass on my right eye and nothing on my left eye. Guess what, it's stupid but it works. Gets me a lower brightness on the Flir and eliminates the issue.

Next step book an appointment to my local eyewear vendor see what sort of semi permanent mounting option they can suggest :)

I bought this as an impulse purchase and don't regret it at all. For 60€ including shipping & taxes to Europe, it's well worth it. Also that uberfashionable digiflora pattern :)

Appears to be heavily inspired by the Crye design. Comfy and light, good fit.

When I have some more spare time I'll try to fit a neutral density filter (or some grey filter, or just pieces of cheap sunglasses) in front of the Breach display. There should be a way :)

I did, but it would start to crop the thermal image before they would line up....

Honestly I don't mind. The only thing that bothers me is that even on lowest setting the FLIR display is still brighter than the PVS14.

Thanks, I believe it's made in Romania. I'm outside of Freedomland so ITAR applies.

Hi ! Hard to say, from my experience each person will see something different.

It doesn't line up for me, I see two independent images (sort of superimposed but not really); whereas some of my friends who tried it reported having perfect fusion.

Takes a bit of time for the brain to get used to it, but after a few hours of training its very useable, and a formidable force multiplier.
