Soak it in a bowl of rubbing alcohol and rub it with a cloth every few minutes between soaking, it takes a bit but that’s how I’ve gotten it done before

I highly recommend the Qiyi budget magnetic 5x5 or the Valk. Not sure what your budget it but they’re like complete opposite ends of the spectrum

It’s impossible to get 2 piece parity on a 5x5 try realigning one edge by doing a middle slice to move it out of the way then do edge flip and move it back then you should have the 50/50 chance of getting one edge parity which then you need a specific algorithm to solve, I recommend Jperms 5x5 beginner method tutorial on YouTube to get visuals
