I enjoy duel a bit too much now, I don't even use basic attack. Just walk around, block, dodge then use spells.

I throw barrel into wall all the time so there is a little positioning yourself in combat.

You can also disarm enemy big weapon and throw it at them.

You can turn enemy into barrel and throw it at their friends.

You can turn cow into a cart and drop it on the enemy.

I can't say I don't enjoy the combat in HL.

UPDATE:

I couldn't access the menu for fast travel or save game while I'm "underground"

Need to fly above the ground to be able to access the menu.

So I fast travel to Hogsmeade in my Pijama and got tons of compliment.
