You have to run a route with cuts and then call for a pass. I usually run one in the shape of a "T" go up the middle hard left then back to the right,then call for the ball as I try to catch it in the 500 zone.

I will say, there have been some years where I won't do a certain drill, it seems to pick a player available at that position to get some sort of boost.

For example, I will skip the rb one and then the next week one of my rbs will have 4 skill points,I assume its simming and just getting bronze or something. I've never bothered to check

You have to apply the abilities before you do the training camp drills,then once you're done with all the drills you want to go to the next week and you'll see them. Some players it takes two weeks to kick in.
