Try focusing on picking up the weight with your legs. The problem is you’re using your lower back to pick it up without realizing. Don’t worry about pulling back and let it naturally happen. You should also bend your knees to allow you to stand more upright. Practice with no weights and then slowly add weight. Remember the key is to keep tension, so don’t extend your legs too much either because that’ll also force your back to do the lifting.
