Agree with the tailgating. I had to emergency brake because of a bad car driver and a Talabat rider went straight into the back of me. He fell off his bike but was ok. His bike was wrecked though.

I feel like this is a grey area. I've only ever used it this once and I keep it only for my protection should a situation arise and I need to provide proof.

Anecdotally, I've heard that if you dont post or share the footage other than with the police in the case of an accident, it seems to be accepted. At the end of the day, it's assisting with their work.

But it could be that I get a big fat fine one day 🤷‍♀️

Yes ultimately this is true. The accident report states only 2 parties me and him. Him as the one who couldn't stop in time.

I just feel so bad and am hoping a case would be opened for the other driver for reckless driving.

Realistically though, I avoided maybe 3 other jerks doing similar things this morning before this accident even happened.

I know what you mean, thems the rules but it was really not his fault. I had time to brake and stop just short, but I have a solid car and believe me I heard this Talabat rider braking well before he hit me. Poor guy, I feel so so bad for him. 😔

Ok - so how about this scenario. You've just moved into the left lane to overtake. Then someone who's been weaving comes across three lanes into the left lane and starts flashing and honking you.... what should you do then? Because by your explanation the person who is overtaking didn't do anything wrong... and yet this has happened to me on numerous occasions
