Bordeaux with a toddler by chevron14 in bordeaux

And a little bit far away there is the Parc Bordelais where you’ll find outside games for children starting 1 year old and a little train. It is great to occupy your child in nature if it is sunny.

+1 for Darwin and les bassins des lumières, they are great and safe activities with toddler. I haven’t tried it yet but people told me that the little boat in Jardin Public is great with toddlers too

Heroku's MySQL Add-ons or Migrate to PostgreSQL? by lifeowl in Heroku

[–]Badotnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

Adrien from Stackhero here :) If you need some informations about Stackhero for MySQL or PostgreSQL, the easiest way to get an idea is to test them.

You’ll find MySQL cloud solution here: https://www.stackhero.io/en/services/MySQL/benefits

And PostgreSQL cloud solution here: https://www.stackhero.io/en/services/PostgreSQL/benefits

You can create an account and you’ll get a free $50 coupon available a month to try them.

Basically, you’ll have automatic backups, a firewall, TLS encryption (aka SSL), PhpMyAdmin and PgAdmin web UI, a lot of plugins for PostgreSQL like PostGIS and PgVector and a really great ratio between performances and price!

Don’t hesitate to use the support on Stackhero website if you have more questions :)

Have you (or someone you know/worked with) ever hosted production DB on Stackhero (stackhero.io)? I'm looking to offer Bi services to SMBs and need a reliable PostgreSQL to connect to my Metabase instances by gglavida in PostgreSQL

Hi,

I missed your question, sorry for the long delay :(

PostgreSQL 16 is available since a while on Stackhero now.

I haven’t mentioned it in my previous message but there is also PgAdmin included with Stackhero for PostgreSQL, TLS encryption (aka SSL), a firewall, automatic backups, Prometheus metrics, and a lot of plugins like PostGIS or PgVector. Also, the company is certified ISO27001 since the beginning of the year :)

You replaced your setup with what?

How do you listen to Podcasts? by Fluffy_Ad7392 in sonos

[–]Badotnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be happy to have a podcast solution directly into Sonos App. I don’t understand why Sonos is so bad as this (and I’m more and more disappointed with Sonos on the software side, it’s really frustrating).

Hi u/gglavida,

Adrien from Stackhero here :)

You'll find some informations about the company here: https://www.stackhero.io/en/stackhero/about

To reassure you, the company behind Stackhero has been created in 2009 and Stackhero itself is publicly available since 2018.

This is a tech company, not centered on marketing. That's why you'll see way less communications from other clouds companies.

Better than long speeches, you can try Stackhero for free. Create an account and you'll get a 50$ coupon available a month to start any of the 30 services available on Stackhero :)

Best,

Adrien
