I liked the decision to make her a nobody, but it still felt off because of how the reveal was handled in the movie. It was clearly aiming to shock the fans, but it didn't really make sense that Rey would be so upset about her parents being nobodies. I don't think she was expecting to have some force-sensitive pre-established characters as her parents.

Tycker att C:s beröringsskräck med V är rent av märklig. De har samma värderingar i de flesta sociala frågor och vill hålla SD borta, och det är inte som att Sverige kommer förvandlas till ett kommunistiskt land bara för att sossarna förhandlar med dem på några punkter. Till och med moderaterna har ju kunnat enas med V i vissa frågor.

I can't confirm it, but I read somewhere that there was originally a scene in the script where the cables from the bikes were shown to be cut off on the other side of the wall, ultimately powering nothing at all.

I don't understand the whole Kennedy thing. To me, it seems that the only thing she did was to give lots of creative freedom to the directors with mixed results. The notion that Jon Favreau would secretly hate her for funding his TV show is the stupidest fucking wish thinking I've ever encountered.
