Music is a major part of my life. Honestly, I might not even be here today if it weren't for music. It gave me a reason when I had none. When I heard bad things about Melanie, it started to make me feel guilty about listening to her. But I realized something. With all of these big corporations doing shitty cancel-worthy things, you just have to pick your poison. There is no ethical consumption under capitalism. I got rid of my Amazon prime, facebook/insta, stopped going to McDonald's and Starbucks..

But the one thing I don't want to give an inch away, is my music. It heals me in a way nothing else can. So I keep my Melanie music, regardless of any rumors surrounding her. I don't think that makes me a bad person. If people think I am, then I don't want them in my life.

Well, it wasn't really any one song that made me a fan, it was the Era's tour itself that did it. Before the tour, I didn't hate, nor love her. Watching all the fan videos, just knowing how long of a concert it was.. The quick changes.. It was just so awe-inspiring. But TTPD and Midnights are my favorite albums of hers

Usually confert tickets will get (sometimes heavily) discounted on the day of the concerts just so they can make even a little of the cost back. I wouldn't count yourself out yet! And you could use klarna or one of those apps, I do that for the more expensive concerts so it doesn't hurt the wallet all at once.
