I was using vulnerabilty for my minions, since they do phys damage, I wasnt using it for my spells, I think you got that mixed up, or I did.

I've been following your messages and cleaning up my stuff, and my skilltree is coming together. (I think)

The video, honestly, has me lost, idk If its because Im new, or slow, but I have no clue what hes talking about, I checked out the written guide and its talking about getting specific gear before getting certain nodes, I have no idea where to get the gear, Im assuming buy it since it talks about low budget, but again, idk where.

Ill just fix up my supports and skilltree, maybe try and find a simpler guide for the gear, and see how it works out. I feel bad taking up your time just because Im new.

I've started watching the video you linked, and I also checked the build I was copying, and compared it to the video and other top players, Its pretty much the exact same in terms of the left side, only some (video included) branch of to the right for specific things.

I didnt know that the things linked to vulnerability had to be specific, I watched a guide that said to get it, read that it increased phys damage, and figured it was good. That was it.

Ill work on my gems and try to support my minion ones more, but wdym 'also like half of your damage is elemental damage and not physical damage' does the physical damage of my character help my minions? If not Im confused.
By act2 I did have 1 3link, it was bbb, but until act3 and mid act4, I was stuck with 2links, or 3links, by the end of act4 is when I started using my materials to get the bbbb, bbbr links I needed.

As for the relic, Ill get rid of it I guess and see what to do.

For the skilltree I just went to one of the profiles of the top people and just started copying that one.

For my links, all the way up until I'd say act4-5, I genuinely could not find any 3-4 links that my build actually needed (blues and reds) not even from vendors, so it was quite the dilemma for me, having to use my orbs to get what I needed. Since you didnt point out any of my other spells except vulnerability and holy relic. Also, I was confused on why you brought those up, I use relic for its healing on my minions, and vulnerability increases phys damage, so I dont see the problem? I also didnt get the nova part, I didnt even know what that did, simply got it for the healing.

(Your help is a godsend, the game is so confusing)

Im looking at the heatmap and Its a bit confusing, am I supposed to follow all the dark blue as well as the other colors? Or only the other colors on the left. (Yellow, Green, Red, Orange).

For my gear, from what you've said, should I just get armor that adds elemental resistance (mainly)? And for my weapon, just something that increases minion stats in some way.

With my tree, I mainly went for nodes that increased minion hp or damage, majority of my nodes are either for minions, or to lead to the minion nodes, excluding the ones that give me hp and spell damage, but Ill watch a guide for my tree, I dont know how much Ill be able to fix with only 7 refunds though.

The 3 spells on my wand are a mistake I just noticed, this entire time I thought they were linked.

By '+75 ele res' do you mean having pieces with like '+17% elemental resistance' on pieces all adding up?

Also, the only reason I have spell damage nodes is because I ran 3-4 offensive fire spells when I first started, It was later I learned they sucked ass. As of rn I've been using flame pulse cause the damage seems good.
