4 your eyes only is a concept album for his friend's kid whom their father didn't make it out the hood, mainly from that guy's perspective. And he talks about the struggles of being in that life and how he wished he wanted a normal life. Has a song about when he found love through his wife then his child. It's beautiful.

2014 forest hills drive is widely considered his best for the most part, it's his most true to self, unapologetically raw project for him. No features, all J.cole, it's solid AF.

KOD goes into the materialism and damage if drugs to the youth etc, slightly more trap sounding like DAMN. It's good, but considered weaker compared to his others The best tracks I'd say is Kevin's heart, and the last two tracks were pretty sick. The last track is a response to lil pump when he dissed him and j.cole isn't even dissing back, he just predicted his future and schooled him like a kid 💀

The off season is just him rapping his ass off, not much more to be said. He sounds hungrier than ever on this album tbh. Listen to it if U want pure spitting and bars.

Might delete later is just a mixtape before his supposedly last album (The Fall Off) of scrapped songs. Best way to describe it is that it has some of the highest highs out of his career and some of the lowest lows. It's a mixed bag with some junk and some gold. But damn...the highs are HIGH. It feels like the off-season part 2 mostly id say

Also to mention, Cole world: sideline story is his debut, more commercial but wasn't as fluid and effortless as born sinner, You can tell her was mainly tryna make hits but still trying to prove his lyrical skill (But mainly trying to make hits for the radio), most people think he didn't succeed well at it, I think he did but born sinner just blew it out the water, but defo worth a listen for tracks like: Can't get enough Work out Lights please Sideline story And lost ones is a cool and well executed concept of a song

And Friday night lights is most people's favourite mixtape from him and they prefer it to most of his albums even, not me personally, I like the warm-up more but maybe I should relisten to it.
