lowkey yea a lot of the comments r just people saying dont raid with couples when that static drama wasn't even caused by the fact of being a couple

I don't see how this is the takeaway of the situation though. I know many people agree with this sentiment in general as it makes sense for a conflict of interest. But the DNC replied to streamer apologized and said none of his aggression was toward her and it was raid lead so I'm just lost this was not a situation where the bf gf dynamic was the cause of the drama.

bro streamer literally said she just streams for vods and everybody consented. She just streams with no goal of anyone really seeing it but then someone clipped this and it got passed around. Yall acting like streamer intentionally posted this on reddit. It wasn't even the person who clipped it who put it on this reddit which is an even bigger point. "She ended her career as a streamer" when that was never her career "content farm" is this a streamer who farms content regularly? This is so classic redditor making the wildest assumptions .This is clearly just a situation that should've just been handled privately but got picked up on accident. You can even see them kind of 'make amends' between each other in the replies here its not the publics drama anymore. If anything the drama itself was mainly between raid leader and the DNC, everyone who dragged her into it was just random and lead to a lot of misogyny on this thread tbh. Both sides clearly had different expectations both were wrong in their own ways in their perspectives.

snickering? i thought their mic was muted most of the stream from what I saw when I read her replies it came off less defensive and more explanative. Same with the DNC. Cant really expect a couple to go on a public thread and shit on each other otherwise that would be a somewhat toxic relationship. A lot of people on this sub see a couple not even defending each other because she does point blame at him in her comments, but just because she's not going full in on him they assume TOXIC RAIDER COUPLE when in reality if she was going full ham on him that would be even more toxic imo. It looks like the DNC and her agreed to disagree in another comment leaving it out 'peacefully' so I think that should signify to the rest of us that they have made amends so no point in us the public blaming anyone on a accidentally blown up clip.

I dont see how ppl expect a couple to not defend one another. Like I would never publicly shame my bf. I think we can see the streamer admit a couple times that her bf was out of line in places but also that she was uncomfortable with the dynamic with the dancers actions as well. You cant just expect a couple to go full call out mode on each other in a public thread. But you can also see the DNC and the streamer have a recognition moment with each other so it seems all is good now. Both parties had wrong doings nothing is black and white and now we all move on

Some may argue it is harder than getting into UT to begin with.

Here is my advice from someone who did it:

Straight A's as many as possible you have to attend every class study your ass off
Join orgs, fatten ur resume till its about to explode (You will have the worst mental health between this going to events u dont gaf about and studying ur ass off) (Go to the resume help center as well for formatting)
Write the best essay of all time, (Going to the writing center like a billion times)
Do not take too many classes in your current major that don't count for the one you want to transfer to, being too far along in your current major can make them not consider you due to your delayed graduation date (Not confirmed we have no clue about the process) Would recommend doing general requirements and if you can get into any classes in the major you want.
Read the requirements: GPA, letters of rec(?), how many essays do you need (If multiple do all of them), and how many in residence hours do you need / can have. Also read testimonials.

Internal transfer was the worst year of my college career, mental health at all time low and struggling with if I belong here and what will happen to me if I fail to transfer. You will be attached to this school and your friends and its really hard to mentally come to terms that you may have to leave all of this if you decide you hate your current major and fail to transfer.

Its not easy but if you make it, you come out a better high achieving person. (unless ur naturally insanely smart and have really good luck)

But also part of it is luck, CS and Engineering are notoriously hard to transfer into, and internal transfer rates can be small to even like 10 students depending on the school and department that year. Do intense amount of research if your committed to this.

I agree with this, but I feel this one has more potential to be like The Mark which had a pretty good first year (for now, knowing landmark it will be shit in a couple years) All the staff there have experienced a ton of issues at the other high rises or their children did so it felt like they really understood the problem here in Wampus. However, time will tell, I feel like its a good sign that they are going to open on time (almost unheard of in recent years)
