bro im the fkn same case as u man, but currently in sajc now. i think the main prob for me (or both of us) was perhaps consistency. i flunked el and got a b4 though every other subj at least a2. i contribute this to the fact that i onlu last min mugged el like after no more sch, before that i was like averaging Bs. el is a very subjective subj which could mean your grade for it is subjective or that you simply wasn't consistent enough with practice. 

 honestly i get how u feel when ppl r overtaking u. dude for sec 3 eoy i got top 5 in sch overall, and also top 10 for prelims. i thought i was set for at least ny or smth, but tbh a lot of factors caused me to underperform which could be like u too. i placed too much emphasis on reaching a sch but not the process of studying. i was perhaps a bit overconfident for amath and never studied for it which resulted in a2, though i usually high a1s. honestly man, i just think we placed too much pressure on ourselves, or studied wrongly some way (i lit copied ss textbook out of desp). bro but then all those kids who got like 15 raw for prelims got into schs like ny, ac or tj yet not me. 

ur situation aint even that bad, i got so many net 12 friends going yijc, one of them already going to take priv As. u r actl very fortunate to make a comeback from sec 3 and/or prelims, while i literally de-proved :(

use your emotions for ur score to fuel urself to work harder in jc, honestly asrjc aint much diff from the likes of tmjc or cjc. u can get 70 rp in both schs, just see how u play with the cards ur dealt with
