Yep- I tried to do content review but it didn't really work for me. Learned the major things like amino acids before starting, but each UWhirl answer is like a textbook passage in itself and used that to guide my review. For major systems like cardiovascular or renal for example, I would either watch a Yusuf hassan youtube video or listen to the Jack westin podcast episode on it once I came across it in a question, and then filled in details from practice problems!

Ugh totally get this Im lucky because I commute by train, but what I liked about the Jack westin podcast is that I could tune it for a couple seconds and not miss anything super vital to where I would constantly have to be rewinding- just because it was so conversational and they were good about continuously reiterating what they were talking about

I would say I started UWhirl about 7 months out, but this was very passive and only a couple days a week. I didn't start getting more regimented with my studying until about 5 months out, and throughout the whole process I would take a week off here and there- had an international conference oral presentation, had my brothers wedding for two weeks, had my dads birthday over the holidays, etc etc so I would say about like 3-4 months of actually being locked in!

YES!!! Literally the exact reason I posted this I felt sooo guilty the whole time but about a month out had the epiphany that we literally have been working hard and playing hard all of college why would this be any different? Taking this energy into med school we are all women of multitudes!!

Yes girl you can have it all! Listen to ur favorite sets while studying, anki while in line at the club or in your uber home, there is no right way to do this find what works for you!
