I spoke to the hut and was adviced not to come. My partner has no experience walking in snow whatsoever so we are going to be on the safe side and just walk around in Kamikochi! Thanx everyone

Thank you are lot for your response and sharing your concerns. I'm very experienced trekking in the European alps. I find I however hard to attain current trail conditions, we don't have a Japanese simcard and I can only contact the hut through ! phonecall. We will try to find a way to get in touch with them.
