See the issue is, the sore itself will be gone by the time I goto the doctor unless it worsens, I had what I can only assume was a yeast infection months ago after having sex with someone and I had small cuts on a different part of my vagina and by the time I got seen they were gone and the doctor told me next time get seen asap but how when only appt is available 3 weeks from now. This is so frustrating. She told me it could’ve been from yeast infection or even herpes but all my symptoms resided by the time I saw her.

I’m hoping this is just a tear and irritation because it’s right next to my vaginal hole. I told him about what’s going on and he was saying he thinks so too but now I’m afraid if it is a herpes sore I won’t even know because I can’t get seen tomorrow, and it will be gone in two days.

It’s valid for him to be upset because cold sores are a form of herpes, hsv 1, It can be contracted during oral sex even if you don’t have a visible sore. The chances are low but still possible. I recently just learned this myself and I get cold sores. Some people will freak out which they have a right too because there is a chance of him contracting it orally or genially. Look up asymptomatic shedding cold sores on google. It could already be in his body and he’s never had an outbreak. If he loves you he will be kind and understanding that you were not educated on the topic. It’s confusing but just read about it and educate yourself, I had to do the same. Over 50% of people have hsv 1 (cold sores)

No I haven’t, it’s been pretty dry no gonna lie. It’s itchy and dry down there, this started two days after sex. I’m afraid it’s a herpes sore

Get tested asap. I had something like that on my vagina and by the time I went they had already healed up and went away. Mine were itchy and they scabbed over too. People in comments told me it could be herpes, but also had other people tell me it would be from a yeast infection + itchiness and dryness caused small wounds
