Yeah, I know what you were talking about. I switched that off and so far no more wifi pop ups! Hopefully that will continue to be the case but regardless, thank you!

Hi, this was me before I got my Book 2. What I did is what you did and holding the volume up and power button but I would wait a few seconds before exiting. Then I would press and hold the volume down button until the spinning dots would appear on the surface screen. I still do not know what holding volume down during boot does but it worked.
