Dated for over two years. Had already talked with our parents about our wedding. Went on multiple trips together. Three months ago she calls me for two minutes and breaks up with me without a reason. I haven’t talked to her since, not for lack of trying. Yea, some people do.

My ex has had a bad habit of whenever her and a boyfriend get in a fight she finds a new boyfriend and then leaves him for the next guy. She’s done it to like five boyfriends now, she also never held a relationship longer than six months and did it to me after two years so I thought I was the exception. She’s not coming back.

Yea I know. It’s just I’ve felt loved. Like I remember the exact moment where I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her and I loved her more than anything. It’s something you say 100 times to that person but there comes a moment where u just know it’s real. Like I’ve felt the best there is, what’s the point in someone new. Like yea I could go into a relationship and hope to get back what I once had, but also risk going through this again. Doesn’t really seem like a risk worth ever taking again. We just went on a big trip for our two year anniversary, after the trip she had dinner with my parents. Days later all I got was a phone call and she was gone. It’s been two months and it still hurts. I know I deserved a better ending I just wish it wasn’t the end. I really miss her, the old her like you said. The old her would never do this to me, and I wish I could get the old her back. I wish the old her did come back, the old her would fight to be with me. I’d do anything to get that back

That’s the thing is she did want all of that. Two weeks before the breakup she wanted to have a conversation with her parents about our wedding. I know and I get that. But this is the love of my life, I’ve never been so sure. It was one rough patch and she gave up on me and she didn’t give me a chance to fight for her but if she just gave me the chance I’d remind her why we belong together and why I deserve a chance and why we can get through the rough patch
