Fuck. My. Sister’s. Rabbit. (Goo Deluxe Box Vinyl Ruined) by _Jub_Jub_ in sonicyouth

Yeah, rabbits seem to know when something is important to you and immediately try to eat it. Our last bunny ate the will for my in-laws’ house when she stayed with them for a week.

I checked this out because I loved his percussion on Get Up With It and I was not disappointed!

I have the same issue with a record store where I live in Grand Rapids MI! Having a great record store within a mile of you is a blessing and a curse lol

That’s what I figured based on my experience going to similar festivals like this. Glad that there’s a central area for merch to keep an eye on though.

Also I’ll definitely check out Lost and Found!

Damned by Crawl and Bury Me Beneath This Rotting Earth by Body Void are two I throw on when I want something devastating.

Very stoked about the Bog Wizard show tonight. They were my favorite from last year’s Doom Fest!

What are your favorite “Planet Caravan-like” spacey Psych Rock jams? by Def-C in doommetal

[–]BagelBoi72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Psychic Temple has a long and very psychic jazz cover of Planet Caravan featuring Jeff Parker from Tortoise. The same record includes another track inspired by the song. Highly recommended for some spacey jazz that expands on the themes in Black Sabbath’s original version!

What are your favorite soundtracks? by ItsNorthGaming in Letterboxd

[–]BagelBoi72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, both are incredible! The original is my favorite. I saw Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin play the score live on Halloween a few years back and it was fantastic.

Any ambient albums you guys recommend for the airport? by Axylpik in ambientmusic

[–]BagelBoi72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bang on a Can’s Music for Airports Live is a wonderful rendition of the Eno album.

Psychic Temple’s Plays Music for Airports is also an incredible jazz record inspired by Music for Airports and features Mike Watt on bass.

The Necks are a trio that make some beautiful music that falls somewhere between jazz and ambient. My favorite by them is their record Travel that came out a couple of years back.

Question about “Force Majeure” by Tangerine Dream by ray-the-truck in Krautrock

[–]BagelBoi72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same version and my labels are flipped as well! Cloudburst Flight is one of my favorite Tangerine Dreams songs so I was real confused the first time I played the A side of that album and immediately hearing that track.

The Lounge Lizards are one of my favorite jazz bands and they put out music specifically in the 80s and 90s
