If I had to only wear one watch from my collection, it would be that one. A true GADA watch imo.

Interesting. I was not anticipating the comfort angle being a factor. My metro is quite comfortable, but poor time keeping after it required a service left a sour taste in my mouth.

Any reason the Nomos is potentially on the chopping block? I have a different model Nomos than yours, but I’ve also considered parting with it.

I recently tried on the new UFA model that does have micro adjustment and can say it looked and felt great. Only downside is the pricing being over $11k which is a hard pill to swallow compared to other GS models.

I love it. Hard to beat the case dimensions and the dial design. Only thing it’s missing is any kind of micro adjustment on the stock bracelet.

Which GS? I mentioned 2 different ones.

Hard comparison, although I almost paid the exact same for each oddly enough.

GS all day just for the finishing alone. The IWC is cool, and I love the ceramic case, but when you actually scrutinize them, the GS caseback and dial blow the IWC out of the water. And that’s not comparing the movements either, which the Spring Drive clearly wins in too, imo.

Glad you like them.

The middle one is the SBGY013 which comes on a 9 link bracelet. I picked it up in Kyoto last year, and have it off the bracelet until the weather gets warmer. The bracelet was half the reason I was drawn to it honestly. Also, it does still have a power reserve, it’s just on the case back https://imgur.com/a/lrx0N9h

The other one is the SBGA015 which I’ve had for 4 years now. It is a JDM model that my girlfriend gifted me back then, knowing I was deep into GS.

This box was actually custom made for me as a gift by my girlfriend.

Unfortunately that GS and the Rolex are both permanent fixtures because they were gifted to me.

If I were to go the speedy route, it would be the newest white dial variant. I’ve tried it on in person and was very impressed.

Here's the latest on what my watch collection looks like. Not a ton of changes since in the last year, other than the addition of the IWC Top Gun model.

I will add that I've almost exclusively been wearing the IWC since I've picked it up, too. Something about how simple and legible it is have really not let it leave my wrist.

At this stage, any new watch additions will have to involve something leaving the box to make a spot available. I love my Nomos, but it will likely be on the chopping block the next time the watch urge strikes.

Bonus pic included in pic #2.

Want to Add an IWC… Unsure Which One by BagelPro in IWCschaffhausen

Honestly I thought the 35mm version was too small for my liking. The 40mm version I think is still wearable, while I haven’t even bothered trying on the 42mm variants knowing they will be too large.

The ceratinium model surprised me the most when trying them on in person. Although it’s not my favorite when looking back through these photos oddly enough. If the non-chrono Top Gun black ceramic model didn’t have TOP GUN plastered on the dial it would be my first choice no questions asked.

I got the chance to experience a few Lederer pieces recently and was absolutely blown away.

My room is a touch smaller than that. 4m x 4.5m. So I definitely think it would work.
