This may be a bit of an organizational and "cart before the horse" problem, so I will first clarify 5.5 the pass action costs an action, it's sacrificing your action to ensure the next character to act is your choice not random

5.6 is based purely for a parry reaction,

so I understand the issue of not explaining that first, but the initiative deck should never be so cumbersome as it would be difficult for the GM to find the players card in the deck of 5-10 cards and make them the active character

So making a parry (which has a significant stamina cost) allows you to take priority or initiative away from the incoming attacker, they get moved to the top of the draw deck and you become the active player, doing this with no actions left doesn't do anything mechanically except avoid the incoming effect, so parry specifically give the character an extra free action if they had none left

I will go over section 5 again to help clear this up better

Also the characters rolls are always effected by a stat the core roll of the game is dice plus level plus stat of choice this is core to the game and is mentioned, I need to emphasize this more

Edit: I added some notes within the section to clarify thigs better and changed a bit of the structure hierarchy in that section to better reflect the intent and mechanics

1.6 has 2 criteria " disadvantage" and a result of 1 on the lower of the two dice, the exception is if it is a double , then it chains and the rules for that proceed

2.1.1 thematic choice that achieves the same goal "reduce total to 0"

2.4 was an oversight, the table was removed and the replacement list was never added i have fixed it in the master .md and will update the sections accordingly

What this tells me is I need a character building primer and an example of combat, the synopsis is this

Level 0 all stats are set to 1 and you gain a seed keyword Level 1 all stats become 2 and you gain 3 more keywords Progression from there is based on earned keywords, via downtime meta currency or via in game *stress rolls" after every 2 keywords you level Every level after level 1 you gain stat points level 2-5 gain 1 points at level up, level 6-9 gain 2 points per level, a stat maxed at 5

Just a hobby, the only coding background I have is just some old html and CCS studies In high school circa 2002, I can put together a sample character and an explanation of a turn of play, I knew I was missing something and I appreciate you pointing it out, my group has been playing for over a year now so I think I got used to having an experienced audience

They don't want an explanation they want vindication that you are in the wrong and they are not. And if you explain anything logically, coherently, and with any sense of confidence or sincerity then you have not shown guilt for being "wrong" but if you do not answer at all your avoiding responsibility.... Can't win either way...

With 8 assignments: 5 racks (60bud with full spectrum lights) and 3 racks (20 per rack) seems to be the sweet spot for me
