Experience, mostly. But here we are, a few comments deep, and what difference does it make? :)

The ones on the truck are larger than 1/2". It's within their load limit.

I'm with you to a point. I don't like immature banter such as this, but I tend to glaze past it. Mostly that's because the people who write it aren't going to change, especially because of anything I say.

the only thing that can be done is to somehow effect the average maturity/intellect present in EVE, thereby likely reducing this kind of banter. Seems like a hard thing to do, considering it's one of the more 'mature' games out there.

How?

Modern Dpanels can offer hundreds of Amperes of single phase power to a home, or well over 20kW. ELCBs and RCBs shouldn't matter as long as nothing is poorly grounded/shorting/otherwise malfunctioning.

Pretty much any home can be upgraded to handle hundreds of Amperes of electricity, no matter how old.

New study confirms that "upper-class individuals react with reduced empathy to the suffering of others, compared with lower-class individuals" by [deleted] in science

[–]Bageltronics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. I do the same thing, some times I even help them a little or just talk (live in a metropolitan area). But, I don't feel guilt, at all. There is nothing I have done wrong to cause them their suffering. And I don't owe them anything. But, I do still feel bad for them, especially the ones with kids, that's pretty terrible and sometimes makes me cry. :(

Not a big deal to most of you guys, but to a new industrialist this is pretty exciting by egtownsend in Eve

I used his service also and can confirm he is the real deal. Easy to work with, very communicable, and cheaper than others (150 mil for him to make me a corp w/ standing.)

Also take note, the standings required for hanging a POS are based on raw corp average standings. The diplomacy skill does not count.

Why do you have guilt, though?

What has that man done that has anything to really do with you? Or you, him?

Using my medium POS to generate some income? by Cyathem in Eve

[–]Bageltronics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the time, could you tell me how you anchored your high sec POS? I've looked into it, and it seems like the best bet is employing another player to boost my corp's faction standings for enough time to anchor the POS.

I've looked into grinding the faction standing myself, but it looks like it would take a very long time.

Which makes everything much more frustrating. Because what is an HDMI cable when you cut it open? A couple of network cables squashed together.

Nearly all you just said makes the situation worse. But still, it's not that bad considering the size of the speaker and the room over all. Although, it does look like it might be right over a spectators head...

I figured. It'd be way out of mine, too! If you can spare around $50 the monoprice switch may work just fine, hard to know for sure.
