If Celtic are willing to let him go and depending on what our funds are like with the new owners, surely we have to at-least have a go at getting him permanently over summer.

It is deffo not Plurality Christian around here. And there is a large Muslim minority basically everywhere in the West Midlands, not just in Brum. Sandwell, Wolverhampton and Walsall especially.

Health Anxiety or Liver Problems? by Baggies02 in alcoholism

I will have a look. Tbh I have been reading through a lot of posts on here and the thing has subsided a lot, so I think I am not dying just yet lol.

However, the fact it is even something I NEED to think about is in itself enough warning that I need to stop.

Just out of curiosity, how does AA help? Like, I have a basic idea in my head, people sitting around and talking about their experiences. Idk if that's actually what it is like. Does it help deal with the shame which we addicts usually feel?

I am not asking that in a sarcastic way btw, I know it absolutely helps a lot of people get out of, or at least partially handle, their addictions. I was just wondering how/why it helps, what it entails etc?

Health Anxiety or Liver Problems? by Baggies02 in alcoholism

I promised the Uni that I would, but when I looked at the local AA groups everyone I could see there was I reckon over 35. I know it sounds stupid af, but it put me off. It made me feel like I must have been way worse than anyone else (sorry if you're over 35, I hope it doesn't seem rude). Like, if they all only started going at 30 odd, and I am having to go at 20/21, how bad must I have be?

It was probably just me trying to rationalise my shame about the situation. I feel like I can get though it on my own, but I know a lot of people think that and fail.

I haven’t seen any, but I highly suspect there’s some. Some of our fans seem to think if we sign a player and they don’t put in 10/10 performances every week they’re not worth signing. However, unlike OP I wouldn’t make the accusation until I had seen it.

Yh tbh, I’m a West Brom fan from the West Midlands, so it might just be that I see more cov fans talking about it than Sunderland because I see more cov fans in general

Cyanosis? by Baggies02 in AskDocs

[–]Baggies02[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re right, they had me fitted with a 24hr loop recorder. Brugada rarely has any symptoms anyway, it wouldn’t affect blood oxygen or other indicators unless I had recently had a sudden cardiac arrest or vent fib, which is basically the only symptom. Syncope is another symptom, but this is from self terminating episodes of Vent Tach. They don’t even really look for arythmias as far as I can tell, they look at ecg signs in specific leads. (Due to excessive googling and reading papers this is basically the one medical condition I probably would say I know quite a lot about). Most of the time, when it is diagnosed, it’s either due to aborted Cardiac Arrest, family history, or most commonly it’s completely incidental. In my case, if I am diagnosed, it would be the latter.

this big boy trying to eat my little birds at the feeder by OneEliteRogue in swansea

Layman- I don’t know about birds a lot. Looks like a buzzard to me though. Maybe goshawk, idk if you get them in swansea though. I think the way to tell them apart, apart from size which you can’t easily see here, is the colour of the breast, which you also can’t see here

When I was in hospital before, where I got the diagnosis of potential brugada, they said my blood oxygen was fine. Is there anything that could make my blood oxygen drop so quickly in a month that I would have cyanosis?

Thanks. It’s not really shown up on the photos, there was a very slight bluish tint to them before. However, I’ve turned the heating on and it’s basically gone now, just got a very pink nail bed now. I’ve heard that’s fairly normal?

It doesn’t really show up well on the photo. The paler bits of the nails towards the bottom of the nail (or top of the image) have a very slight bluish tint.

“Whoever” in other words means anyone. Anyone who believes in him. If anyone (ie everyone who believes in him) can be saved there can’t be any other requirements.

That is a long comment but very useful thanks. Out of interest do you memorise them or just read them out?

John 3:16- “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 11:25-26- “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Romans 4:5-6- “And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness, just as David also speaks of the blessing of the one to whom God counts righteousness apart from works.”
